The various posts under SSC CHSL are :- 

  • Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
  • Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA)
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO)
  • Data Entry Operator (DEO)- Grade A

Responsibility :- 

Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) :- are both clerical level positions in various government departments in India. Some of their responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining files and records
  • Data entry and typing
  • Responding to routine correspondence
  • Assisting with clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and printing
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Providing customer service to the public or other employees.

Postal Assistant (PA) and Sorting Assistant (SA):- are both positions in the postal department in India. Some of their responsibilities include:

  • Sorting and processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Delivering mail and packages to customers
  • Maintaining records and logs of mail deliveries
  • Assisting with the operation and maintenance of postal equipment
  • Providing customer service to the public

The salary structure of the SSC CHSL posts also has other allowances apart from the basic pay. These allowances are as per the guidelines set by the Government of the respective departments.
